May Paper Pumpkin Kit

Welcome Kit - Subscribe now to Paper Pumpkin!

Kits are absolutely the cheapest, easiest, and quickest way to paper craft and make some fun projects.  My Paper Pumpkin was designed by Stampin' Up! just for that purpose.  To give you quick and simple but fun projects delivered directly to your door each month.  Kits are the perfect solution for those of us who LOVE to craft but have busy lives -- pre-cut and pre-designed kits help us to get it done!  

My Paper Pumpkin is a monthly kit sent straight to you each month from Stampin' Up!  This kit I'm featuring on my blog today is the Welcome Kit.  You will receive this kit the very first month you subscribe.  It includes all the supplies you'll need to make four cards with envelopes.  Everything is pre-cut and ready to go. Plus, step by step instructions are included with each month's kit.  Sign-up before the 10th of each month and you will be subscribed for that current month and will receive the Welcome Kit by the 20th of that same month.  Each month after that, you'll receive a Surprise monthly kit.  Could be journals, a Brag Book (like the month of May kit), cards, gift tags, home decor, etc.

I followed the instructions exactly to create my card.  I did add Whisper White Baker's Twine to the Tempting Turquoise Button and tied it in a bow before adhering it to my cards with Glue Dots.  Adhesive is not included in the monthly Kits and you will need it to assemble the projects!

The sentiment that came in the kit, 'Hey There Friend' is one of my favorites!!  Once you've assembled your cards you keep the stamp sets to create more projects with later on.  This Welcome Kit also comes with a Free 'D' Clear Block which you will need for all future monthly Paper Pumpkin Kits!

I also used the paint splatter image from the stamp set to decorate the outside of my envelopes and inside of my cards!  If you're feeling adventurous you can always change up the card layout and step it up if you want with other embellishments or stamping techniques.  I love the whimsical look of the cards so I just added the Whisper White Baker's Twine to soften the look a bit!  Plus it added some more texture.

June My Paper Pumpkin Kit

The June My Paper Pumpkin arrived a little early this month, and I'm not complaining at all!  I usually run out to the mailbox to see this little Red Box arrive and it makes me happy!  Each month I photograph opening the kit, so you can share the excitement with me!  Are you ready, it's a goodie this month!

Love opening the box.  Tissue paper is so neatly wrapped with the sticker and note, it's just perfect.  Kinda like coming home to the bed made and sheets tucked in!  So tidy!

Surprise!  Here's our kit and it's a card kit this month called Hello to You!  All the supplies we need to create 4 cards!

Honeycombs (or Hexagons) are so on-trend right now, it's fun to see them appear in this kit!  Plus a Chevron background stamp!  Too cool for school.  Love it!

Here's What's included in the Kit this month:

• The White Die-Cut honeycombs aren't adhesive backed so you will need adhesive to adhere them to your card!
• Add a little bling if you want to jazz them up with Rhinestones, buttons or Pearls

Feel free to swap out the greeting if you want!  I always need lots of Thank You cards so I stamped a few of the with a different greeting than what came in the kit!  These are the peek-a-boo type cards so you can stamp the hearts that's included in the kit behind the honeycombs (or Hexagons) if you want or fill with your favorite DSP!
