MoJo114 Card Sketch - Happy Thanksgiving Card

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I love this season of gratitude and thankfulness and I hope you have a wonderful day with friends and family! I made this quick and simple Thanksgiving card based upon the Mojo Monday Sketch featured below! You can also click on the link and play along too if you'd like! I had so much fun this fall season creating leaves with my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine! Plus I think I used the Autumn Traditions DSP on almost every card since the colors were great and the patterns were just too cute! The Falling Leaves stamp set on page 27 of the Idea Book & Catalog is one of my favorite fall sets that I have! I love the different leaves and the sentiments are simple and perfect for the cards I
created this season! Plus it has a coordinating jumbo wheel, Bright Blessings that is filled with awesome fonts and sentiments for the season! Tip: To achieve a clear, crisp stamped sentiment on my card, I stamped the 'Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Fall, Happy Blessings to one and all' in the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad! I'm really happy with the result since those letters are tiny but they are clearly seen on my card!

So Much to be Grateful for...

In this wonderful season of being thankful, we have so much to be grateful for! I'm very grateful

for my family, friends, church, and of course all that the Lord Jesus has done for me! There's nothing better than knowing that heaven awaits us and spending eternity with our Saviour! I hope and pray that you are counting your blessings and all the wonderful things and people in your life!

My favorite part about this card, is how all the punches coordinate and fit with each other! I started with the Scallop Oval punch, then the Large Oval Punch fits perfectly inside the scallop for a fun layered look! Then the Modern Label punch holds the Worder Window punch perfectly!

Using several fall colors was a great way to celebrate this season! I randomly stamped the images from the Falling Leaves stamp set (pg. 27) on Whisper White card stock. Tip: Stamping some of the images 'off the page' give it a continuous, flowing look.

MOJO113 ~ Happy Thanksgiving Card

Can you believe Thanksgiving is in one week? Oh my goodness, I can't believe how fast this year has flown by! My Thanksgiving plans are to head home up to Washington to spend time with my parents and family! I'm so looking forward to mashed potatoes and turkey! So for the big day, I created this card based upon the MOJO Monday Sketch pictured below!

I followed the sketch using Stampin' Up!'s Autumn Traditionals DSP (pg. 115668) and the Falling Leaves Stamp Set (pg. 27). I love that paper and of course the leaves are so festive and fun! Tip: I used the reverse side of the Soft Suede 1/2" ribbon so that the polk-dot side was 'hidden'.

Simple Card: {GRATEFUL}

This was a quick an easy {GRATEFUL} card that works nicely as a 'Thank You' card or to send as a Thanksgiving card! The Stampin' Up! Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel (which was used on the bottom of my card) was inked up in Soft Suede ink, then rolled on the bottom of my card! Since the new In Colors do not have ink cartridges for the jumbo wheels, all you need to do is roll the wheel (several times to cover it in ink) in your ink pad, then roll it onto your cardstock! It works great!

Fall & leaves! Love it! Had to use my Leaves #2 die (113459) , so this card is what I came up with! Cutting the Curly Label punch (112208) in half is a fun way to add a tag to any card!
