Make it Monday: Thank You Cards

This Make it Monday post is dedicated to creating quick, simple, but elegant Thank You cards.  I was inspired to make several Thank You notes since I send them out to all of my customers who place orders through me and my stash was depleting quickly!  Today you will see two versions of this card, one is a stepped up version with a 1-minute to WOW technique using Paper-Piercing!

 This is the Midnight Muse sample which I created from the gorgeous papers in the Spring Catalog.  The frame in the design is perfect for creating quick but pretty cards in a snap with the decorative edge as the focal point!

Since I really love this design with the elegant frame, I trimmed these sheets down to: 4" x 5-1/4" to fit on the front of each card.  Since this particular pattern comes in Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple, I layered the DSP on top of the coordinating color of card stock and left it at that.  Very Vanilla is the only other color!

Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple are both In Colors and the adorable Dahlias coordinate perfectly!  Since I was making 4 of each card, I was thrilled that 4 Dahlias come per color in this container of 20 flowers!

The In Color Dahlias feature the 2012-2014 In Colors:  Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, and Summer Starfruit.  The are 3/8" and half-backed so they easily adhere to any project with Glue Dots!  Each package contains 20 flowers, 4 each in the five 2012-2014 In Colors.  Containers are $7.95 each.  Item number for ordering:  127556.  CLICK HERE to Buy Now.

 

This is the Raspberry Ripple color Thank You card featuring the Paper-Piercing technique.  A simple way to add a little something to any project in less than a minute.  Since my Thank You sentiment was punched out using the Decorative Label Punch, the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack contains a template the perfectly details the edge of the punched out image!

Simply lay the template over the area you'd like to Paper-Pierce and using the Paper-Piercing Tool, punch each hole.  Since the title of my blog is Stampin' Essentials, of course I had to use the Essentials Pack right!?!  Of course!  It's all in the details sometimes!
