Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #13

It's Thursday! Another fun Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge! Thanks so much to everyone that played along with us last week! We enjoy seeing your creations! We have a summer themed challenge for you this week and I honestly think the Tropical Party stamp set (120081) on page 26 of the Summer Mini Catalog is the PERFECT stamp set! With the coordinating Island Oasis DSP (117173) - it truly was the perfect set for this challenge! If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demo! You can CLICK HERE to begin ordering On-Line, or EMAIL ME and I can answer any question you may have about Stampin' Up!, ordering products, hosting a workshop, or stamping!

Stampin' Essentials Tips:
  • Since the leaf pattern in the Island Oasis DSP kinda had a distressed look to it, I stamped the Pacific Point Scallop Circle with the Woodgrain back ground stamp to add some texture and depth!
  • Want just a little bow!?! The 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon is my favorite! It's just so cute! I used Daffodil Delight since I needed a little more yellow on my card layout!
  • Paper Snips are the way to go for cutting out your stamped images! I first stamped the flowers (in the top corner) in Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight ink, then I timmed them out using the Paper Snips! These sharp, little scissors are honestly the best ones I've used! The cut and precision you can achieve with them is awesome!!!
