The Color Catcher (item # 121093) protects your work from ink overspray when using the Smooch Spritz or Color Spritzer Tool (item # 107066)! It's made from corrugated cardboard. Easy to assemble; compact and portable. 1 per package. Dimensions once open are 10" x 10" x 10" and it sells for $5.95!
I have a TON of Stampin' Up! shipment boxes around my house from orders, so I thought I'd try and make my own Color Catcher! I used one of the smaller ones, which measures 12" x 10" x 6" (and are corrugated card board)!!! I basically taped 'open' the flaps, and cut off the top flap completely! Here's what it looks like:
Here's how you'd put your card or project inside to spray with the Smooch Spritz or Color Spritzer Tool! I thought the Gold Glow (item # 118770) Smooch Spritz would be pretty on this Owl For You Card I made for CQC #42.
Use these pearlized accent sprays to add a splash of color to your projects! They come in a ready-to-use spray applicator. Layer thin coats of different colors for added dimension. Use the Heat Tool (item # 100005) to speed drying time. Sprays are great for cards, scrapbook pages, chipboard, tags, and more! Acid Free. There are four colors available and each container is .37 oz. Each sells for $4.95!

ReplyDeleteI also used one of my packaging boxes to make my own color catcher. I even used some of my retired DSP (one with excess) and wrapped the DSP on the outside. It made it prettier. I felt good about saving $6 and being able to use that for other products instead.
