SNEAK PEEK Early Espresso and Baja Breeze

Hello all of you who love Coffee, Brown, Baja Breeze, and Stampin' Up! Today is your lucky day because I have good news and a Sneak Peek to share with you! Baja Breeze is coming back! My all time favorite Stampin' Up! color is coming back July 1st with the debut of the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog! Along with that is a NEW color, Early Espresso, which I used on today's card! This deep, dark, rich brown is gorgeous! Simply fabulous! I thought I loved Chocolate Chip, but this brown is YUMMY - just like coffee!

The Stampin' Royalty had a challenge this week to Keep It Simple, Sweetie so if you're wondering what's up with all the extra Very Vanilla card stock on my card - that's why! Definitely a challenge for me to keep it simple since I think my card looks pretty bare. But I also made this card for my sister, Linne's (pronounced: Lyn-nay) 35th birthday on the 19th. She likes things stylish and elegant so I tried to keep it simple! hahaha! We're four years apart, I'm younger, but we're so different. Linne' is a doctor - I got my degree in marketing and advertising. She's blonde - I'm brunette. She loves fashion - I love stamping! We're SO different, but we both love coffee, which is great!

If you're wondering where the fabulous sentiment came from, it's retired but was from the Fashion District Rub-Ons, which coordinates with the still available, Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set! Rub-Ons are a super quick and easy way to add images and sentiments to your projects! Check out page 176-177 in the SU Idea Book and Catalog. There are 9 different packages to choose from - either sentiments, wedding, flowers, etc. PLUS there's another great sentiment package in the Occasions Mini Catalog!
There's several wonderful Stampin' Up! sales and promotions going on right now! Check them all out by clicking on the WHAT'S ON SALE link in the right hand side bar of my blog!
