Happy Bird Day!

Hi Friends! Welcome to the Monday edition of Stampin' Essentials! I found a fun, new Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge blog that I wanted to share with you! I love the simplicity of this card layout and the different elements were so fun to work with! I also enjoyed using my new birthday (bird day!!) present to myself! Hehe! Does anyone else buy themselves birthday gifts!?! I'd love to hear about it - so make sure and leave a comment to this post with your favorite birthday gift to yourself!

So I've been eyeing the Stampin' Up! Circle Scissor Plus (112530) for some time now and thought I'd wait until my birthday (and Sale-A-Bration) to get it! Yippee! My cutter arrived last week! The most hysterical part about the whole thing was what was on the Stampin' Up! box! It says, 'CAUTION: opening box may cause extreme excitement!' Isn't that so funny!?! For those of you who have ordered lately, I'm sure your boxes say the same thing - but I just thought that was too cute!

Fun Tip: The circle sizes I cut for this card were: 3", 3-1/4", and 3-1/2"! The Circle Scissor Plus cuts circle sizes up to 6". What fun!!!
