Scallop Edge Tutorial using Fancy Flower Punch

I love learning new techniques, don't you!?! I have a tutorial to share with you today using the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch to create a scallop edge! The sketch at the Clean & Simple Stamping blog showcased a large scallop border on the layout, so to create this I pulled out the Stampin' Up! Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch. Here's how you turn a flower punch into a scallop edge:
Using the Fancy Flower Punch, punch out 2 flowers from Basic Black card stock.
Then taking your Paper Snips, trim off the petals - two at a time.
Grid Paper is the key to lining up the top of the petals side-by-side.
Then add adhesive to the card stock piece the scallops will be layered 'behind', and you're done!

Stampin' Essentials Tips:

  • The Fancy Flower Punch (118073) is one of the Occasion Mini Catalog items still available for purchase! It's $15.95 and so versatile - it's not just a flower punch!!
