We have a super fun challenge this week at the Colour Q! We're combining our color challenge of Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Green Galore, Glorious Green and White along with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch! Click here to check it out and to play along with us! I also entered this card at the Open challenge at Flutter by Wednesday to have a butterfly, fairy, or angel on your creation - mine featured a butterfly!!! Another one of my favorite challenge blogs, TPE had a challenge to use fun, bright colors and with our color challenge at the Colour Q, the colors were perfect!
Stampin' Essentials Tips:
- The Flight of the Butterfly stamp set (111564) coordinates perfectly with the Butterfly Punch (116629)! I first stamped the flower butterfly image in Tangerine Tango ink on Tangerine Tango cardstock - then punched it out with the Butterfly Punch!
- With this bright color challenge, I chose to use the lighter patterned DSP from the Crushed Curry DSP (115686) for my background! Lots of white space also helps to tone things down as well!
- To add a little Bling, I used the yellow Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads (109110)! These come in three different sizes, which are all on my card! The largest brad is the center of my butterfly!
