Colour Q Challenge #32

Oh, this one is a pure beauty! The color challenge at the Colour Q is just gorgeous! The colors include Kiwi Kiss (Retired), Groovy Guava (Retired), Kraft, Basic Black, and Whisper White! Isn't that pillow in the inspiration photo fabulous!?! I love it! I hope you stop by and join us this week for the color challenge! Here's what I came up with this week! Guess what...I didn't use any stamps or ink!

My card base is Kraft Card Stock and I ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (still available from the Occasions Mini Catalog). One of the things about this folder that make it my favorite, is that it perfectly fits an entire 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card front.

My sentiment is from the Chit Chat Rub-Ons on page 177 of the IBC. I love the look of a White sentiment on Basic Black card stock! Using my Bone Folder, I broke up the fibers in the card stock so it would be easier to make it wavy!

My flowers were made using the Scallop Circle punch and the Fancy Flower punch (still available from the Occasions Mini Catalog). I distressed them then added a 5/8" Silver brad in the middle!

    Love it!! The DSP is incredible and perfect for this project!! I see those wavy banners all over - I'm going to have to try it myself sometime!

    Oh, Kari, this is so fantastic! Not only are the colors bright and vibrant but I love the way the flower looks. And the strip is buckling instead of laying flat like most of us would do. How clever and beautiful!

    Beautiful card Kari. The DP looks like it was made just for this challenge! Love that classic spot embossed background and the white on black sentiment looks really striking.
