Colour Q - Fifth Avenue Floral with Butterflies Card

This week at the ColourQ, Arielle has a bright and cheery color challenge for us! Our challenge was to use: Ruby Red, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, and Regal Rose!

My sentiment is from the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp set (113734) on page 98 in the Stampin' Up! IBC. This set is on SALE this month at a 20% discount for $19.96 through April 30th (regularily $24.95)!

Stampin' Essentials Tips:

• Layers and more layers! My card base is cut out of Ruby Red card stock and scored at the top! Next comes a layer of Bermuda Bay card stock and then a layer of Pumpkin Pie Polka-Dot DSP from the Sweet Pea DSP Stack!
• My die-cut Top Note is cut from Bermuda Bay card stock then a second piece of the Pumpkin Pie DSP is layered inside. I used the 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch to soften the corners of that layer!
• My Butterflies are cut out with the Beautiful Butterflies die then embossed with the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates (114512). These double-sided plates offer great options for adding texture to your projects at a great price! To get a deeper impression, before I run it through my Big Shot, I add pieces of thin cardboard as 'shims' to the bottom of my Multipurpose Platform and Impressions Pad.
• The Circle Fire Rhinestone brad in the center of my butterfly add a bit of bling to my card! This package of 80 brads comes with 4 colors in 3 different sizes! I used the largest sized red brad on my card!
• The Bermuda bay 6 Petal Flower is from the Boho Blossoms Punch!
