Todays card was made with the adorable Level 3 Hostess set, The More the Merrier on page 17 of the Idea Book & Catalog! Stampin' Write Markers were essentials for coloring in bits of color throughout the snowmen! Stamping in Basic Black ink allows for watercoloring or using markers on your image without smearing since this ink is waterproof! The Stampin' Write Markers are sold individually for $3.25 each or in a sets of 12 in the color familes for $31.95 each. Or in a set of 48 markers for $125.95 (which is on my Christmas wish list!!). These markers are dual-tipped with a fine tip (for details and writing) and also a brush tip for wider applications (my personal preference)! Tip: If markers aren't your thing, you can also achieve this same great look using the Stampin' Up! Blender Pens (pg. 192). This package of pens is $9.95 and comes with 3 dual-tipped pens. You can use these pens with any color of ink pad by simply 'pooling' ink on the lid of the pad and coloring with the blender pen! These are clear, acid free pens that you can use with Watercolor pencils, Watercolor crayons, Classic Ink Pads, ink refills, and Stampin' pastels to blend color! Plus the tip cleans off with just a stroke or two on scratch paper and it's ready to use in another color!
