So I challenged myself to use the Stampin' Up! set 'Bird on a Branch' (pg. 105) with the color combination of: Real Red, Bashful Blue, and Whisper White ~ here's what I came up with! I first punched the bottom of the card base with the Eyelet Border punch, and then layered a piece of Whisper White cardstock behind it. Then added a row of red and blue buttons! Basic Gray worked wonderfully as the color choice for the branch since it coordinated with the other two colors! I stamped the branch first in Basic Gray Classic Ink, then the blossoms in Real Red Classic Ink. Tip: My Stamp-a-ma-jig was a great tool for lining up the branch with the blossoms on top! I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Blooms SAB set in Basic Gray ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the Curly Label punch. Then I cut the punched out piece in half, adhered it off to the side the card base, and added a clip with ribbon! Onto my birdie...I used the Birds & Branches die-cut to for the bird and adhered him with Stampin' Dimensionals! The finishing touches were to pierce a corner border in the top right-hand corner with my Paper-Piercing tool and then to ink all the edges with Bashful Blue ink! Viola!
